Krista Larson has been named West Africa bureau chief for the Associated Press. Based in Dakar, Senegal, she most recently covered the Ebola outbreak in the region. She first moved in Dakar in 2012 to serve as correspondent for the region following four years as editor for the regional Africa desk in Johannesburg, South Africa.
