Lou Ferrara has announced that he is set to leave the Associated Press for a new opportunity. Ferrara joined the AP in July 2005 as managing editor and vice president. Ferrara oversaw the Nerve Center for the wire service out of New York. Prior to AP, he served as general manager of the Herald-Tribune Media Group’s digital operations since July 1993.
